Agent at work: training task

  1. Folder with documents input
  2. AI agent task executor
  3. Reads files content
  4. Extracts fields by the rules
  5. Summary table ready
  6. Report on gaps errors

A human reviews the result

Problem

Imagine not having to do this by hand anymore

Documents and files

The agent goes through documents, extracts the information you need and produces a result following the rules you set.

Spreadsheets and reports

The agent processes data, flags errors and prepares summaries.

Information and research

The agent gathers available information, structures it and prepares a report with sources.

Repetitive processes

The agent runs a sequence of operations per instructions, with the checks you need.

These are examples of possible scenarios. In the workshop you will learn the underlying principle and be able to adapt it to your own tasks.

Outcome

Copying commands is not the same as knowing how to work with AI

A typical guide

  1. Copy the command
  2. Run it
  3. Hit an error
  4. Don’t know what to do next

Our workshop

  1. Understand the logic
  2. Build the agent
  3. Check that it works
  4. Learn to fix and adapt the result

We teach a skill, not a set of magic commands.

How it works

How the agent performs the task

The workshop’s training example: the agent processes a folder of documents and compiles them into a table. What matters is not just the finished result, but what happens at every step.

  • Human action
  • Agent does this
  • Human decision
  1. There is a folder of test documents training data from the materials
  2. The user runs the agent one command with the task
  3. The agent reads the content file by file
  4. Extracts the needed fields per the rules in the instructions
  1. Builds a single table one row per document
  2. Creates a report on errors and missing information
  3. The user checks the result against a checklist
    The decision is the human’s

We will show a recording of this task when the workshop launches. Until the recording exists, we are not replacing it with a staged video.

Five lessons: from install to your own agent

A short, hands-on course on building AI agents: each lesson is the next step in one continuous example, with no extra theory. We start with how AI agents work and end with your own working agent.

01

Install and set up the tools

Installation, setup, the interface, your first commands and permissions.

02

Learn to set tasks correctly

How to explain to the AI what needs to be done, which data to use, where the limits are, and how to define a quality result.

03

Build your first AI agent

We build, step by step, an agent that processes files and prepares a structured report. We run it on test data.

04

Turn the agent into automation

We create a reusable script and set up how it runs, its checks and error handling. We cover the difference between running it on command and running it automatically on an event.

05

Adapt it to your own tasks

How to change the instructions, input data and output to apply what you learned to your own work.

At the end, there is a checklist for assessing the agent’s safety and quality.

What’s included

What you will get

Everything you need to go from installation to your own agent, and repeat the process on your own task.

Step-by-step learning materials

Five lessons in the order you complete them.

Instructions for installing and setting up the tools

From installation to your first command and permission setup.

Sample AI agent files

A ready-made training agent you can check your work against.

Agent instruction template

A base you fill in for your own task.

Test data for practice

You can learn without touching your working documents.

Checklist for reviewing results

How to assess the quality and safety of the agent’s work.

Instructions for adapting the agent

How to carry the approach over to your own task.

Who it’s for

You can learn this with no technical background

The AI agent writes the code. Your job is to describe precisely what needs to be done and check the result. That is exactly what the workshop teaches.

  • you regularly do repetitive work with documents, spreadsheets or information;
  • you want to understand how AI agents work, not just copy commands;
  • you don’t code and don’t plan to write code yourself;
  • you are ready to check what the agent did.

What you’ll need

  • a computer running Windows, macOS or Linux;
  • access to a paid AI tool for working with agents — paid separately from the workshop;
  • one repetitive task you want to hand to the agent.

Not a fit if you need to

  • get a turnkey agent built for you with no involvement on your part;
  • embed AI into corporate infrastructure;
  • learn programming or machine learning.

Rollout and cost

Start with one agent. Learn to build your own.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

What is an AI agent?

An AI agent is AI that has been given a task, rules and access to the tools it needs: it works in a terminal or editor, reads files, runs commands and acts on your instructions, going through the steps on its own and showing the result. In simple terms: a chat answers, an agent does.

Do I need to know how to code?

No. The AI agent writes the code; you learn to describe the task precisely and check the result. You will need to work with a terminal following instructions; we cover installation and the first commands in the first lesson.

What tasks can be automated?

Repetitive tasks with clear rules: processing documents and files, working with spreadsheets and reports, gathering and structuring information, sequences of similar operations. The agent does not replace decisions that are the responsibility of a human.

How is an AI agent different from a regular chat?

A chat answers in text, and then you do everything yourself. An agent works with your files and tools: it reads documents, creates spreadsheets, runs commands and checks itself against the rules you set, within the permissions you gave it.

Can I build an agent for my own business?

Yes, that is what the fifth lesson covers. You first build an agent on the training example, then change the instructions, input data and output format to fit your own task.

Do I need to pay for an AI tool separately?

Yes. Running the agent requires a paid AI tool, billed by usage or by subscription. The workshop price does not include it; current pricing is on the website of the service you choose.

Will the agent run on its own?

Once started, the agent goes through the steps of the task on its own. You can run it on command or automatically, on a schedule or by an event; we cover the difference in the fourth lesson. The result still needs to be checked; the materials include a checklist for that.

Can I connect external services?

Yes. An AI agent connects to external services and data through the MCP (Model Context Protocol) protocol. The workshop training example works with files on your computer; connecting a specific service depends on its capabilities and your access.

How do I work safely with corporate documents?

Start with the test data included in the materials. Give the agent access only to the folder it needs and check which commands it is allowed to run. Keep in mind that the content of files the agent works with is processed by the AI service model: before working with real work documents, check the rules that apply at your company.

What if the agent makes mistakes?

Mistakes are a normal part of working with AI. In the workshop we cover how to find the cause, refine the instruction, add checks and rerun it. The checklist helps you catch a mistake before the result goes into use.
